Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions | Smithwick's Experience Kilkenny

All persons wishing to purchase tickets to visit Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny do so subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. All prices are quoted in Euro and prices are inclusive of all taxes and applicable charges. Whilst Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny reserves the right to increase or decrease our prices at any time before you book. However, once your Booking is confirmed the price of your Booking as stated in the Confirmation Email will not change.
2. This service is only available to those persons over the age of 18. We only accept certain credit & debit cards. The following are the credit / debit cards accepted by the Company , [Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diners & Maestro]. To make a purchase or booking with a credit or debit card, you must hold a valid credit/debit card in your name, and or have the permission of the person or company to whom the card has issued to use the card and that sufficient funds are available to cover any and all charges incurred by you. We reserve the right to refuse your booking if your proposed payment by credit or debit card cannot be processed for any reason. It is your responsibility to ensure that the card proffered may lawfully be utilised for this purpose.
3. Tickets must be redeemed at Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny at your allocated time only, the ticket is non-changeable and non-refundable except at the absolute discretion of the Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny.
4. As soon as practicable after booking, we will send you a confirmation email confirming your purchase.
5. To redeem your ticket, you must present to the ticket office a printed copy of your email confirmation or booking reference number together with photo identification.
6. The Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny is suitable for visitors under 18 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above whilst visiting the Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny. Children under the age of 18 are permitted to visit the Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny where alcoholic beverages will be available but they will not be served alcohol and/or allowed to consume alcohol.
7. The management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder without refund for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury or nuisance, and to remove any person(s) for reasons of public safety, overcrowding or otherwise, as the management will have no liability for any damage or loss, consequential or otherwise, save that the management will refund to the owner of a valid ticket the face value of the ticket.
8. Defaced or altered tickets will become void and the ticket holder will be refused entry.
9. In accordance with Irish Law, smoking is strictly prohibited within all areas.
10. Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that all of its exhibits/ displays are open for use by visitors during normal opening hours. However, we reserve the right, whether for safety reasons or otherwise, and with or without prior notice, to close the visitor centre or any part of it.
11. If for some reason you are unhappy with any aspect of your Booking with us, we ask that you write to us at Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny, 44 Parliament Street, Kilkenny, Co Kilkenny, Ireland. Where possible, please quote the relevant Booking Reference Number and provide all other relevant information.
12. Tickets are not valid for groups and can only be used by individuals unless expressly stated.
13. Your personal data will be held by Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny. We will only use your personal data as set out in our privacy statement. The Privacy Statement may be accessed here. However, with regards to the receipt by you of any communication from Smithwick’s, please note that by providing your personal data on the booking form you consent to being contacted by Smithwick’s in relation to the booking of your visit at Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny and any other aspects relating to your visits.
14. Filming: From time to time, filming/photography may take place at Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny for promotional purposes by Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny or Guinness Diageo Ireland. Please note that images of you may be incidentally captured as you enjoy your experience with us and may be used without remuneration. If you do not wish to be filmed, please contact a member of the staff when you are at Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny.
15. These terms & conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Irish Law and any claim brought under these conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish law.
